A diamond is the hardest natural material on earth, but its setting and sparkle still deserve care. A few simple habits will keep your piece luminous for generations.
At-home care
Clean gently
Soak in warm water with a little mild dish soap, brush softly with a soft toothbrush, rinse and pat dry with a lint-free cloth.
Avoid harsh chemicals
Remove jewellery before cleaning, swimming or applying lotions and perfumes, which dull the surface over time.
Store separately
Keep each piece in its own soft pouch or a lined box so diamonds don't scratch other pieces.
Handle by the band
Touch the metal, not the stone — skin oils build up and reduce sparkle between cleanings.
